The Story So Far:

The Eagles will play their 17th round of the season in the Goa Professional League and will see the boys come across a Vasco SC side that kept them to a stalemate in the 8th round of the season.

Back then, the Eagles were on a run of 5 straight wins and at the top of the league standings,

Today they will face the same opposition under different circumstances as the boys will look to put an end to their run of 5 straight draws since their last win in early January.

With just six more games left in the campaign, the boys will know that they have their work cut out for them if they are meant to achieve what their potential demands.

The Opposition:

With just 16 points in 18 games, the visitors have had a season to forget, with a leaky defense and an attack that does not deliver the team finds themselves positioned in the lower half of the table, just one point above SESA Goa in 11th place.

With a goal difference of -16 and losing 10 of the 18 games they have played so far, the visitors will be hoping for a change in fortune when they meet a Golden Eagles side that has been off the pace.

Players To Watch:

Beevan D’Mello: So far this season, Beevan has been used sparingly in the side but when called on has made an immense impact on games. Against SESA FA his substitution was the pivot that saw him register 2 assists and against Signals and Velsao his cameo late on was vital as the sides lack of creativity saw them not able to break down the opposition.

With a goal in their last outing, he will be looking for more of the same again.
