Manuel D’Costa

A truly gifted striker, the wellbuilt and dashing Manuel D’Costa’s sublime technique made him a cut above several of the top players Goa has produced. He always popped up at the right place and time to get that crucial touch which would translate a good move into a goal. D’Costa joined Dempo after some impressive performances with Shantilal and carried on with his good form for his new employers. Speed was also his forte and his change of pace could leave seasoned defenders chasing shadows.
