Dempo Sports Club were held to a goalless draw in their second pre-season game of the season against fellow title contenders Sporting Clube De Goa, at Ella- Old Goa.
With Ball Possession being shared almost equally by both teams, it was the Eagles who had created the better chances. The best chance of the half, fell to Richard who was not able to find a way past the Sporting keeper with Pedro coming close with a Freekick effort just before the break. In the Second half, Dempo dominated possession of the ball, Beevan, and Latesh, both in as second-half substitutes, began to combine well in and around the box, with the host playing off the two but failing to test the Sporting Clube De Goa keeper yet again.
In the midfield, Danstan and Kritikiesh capped in a fine performance, with both the Midfielders covering every blade of grass, breaking counters, and starting attacks, with Defenders Shallum and Edwin both providing them with adequate support.
