Dempo SC are pleased to announce the signing of international footballer, Chika Wali. The 25-year-old has been handed the No. 5 shirt at the Golden Eagles, signing off on a one-year deal ahead of the new season. Shortly after completing the move, Chika Wali said, “ I am very happy to sign for Dempo SC, the club with a great history. I can’t wait to play my first match for the team!”.
The Nigerian international had a brief stint at Tuff Laxmi Prasad SC in the Goa Pro –League last season before moving to Mumbai FC on loan, for the 2014-15 I-League season. “I am grateful for Dempo SC for giving me opportunity to play for the All Blues”, added the stout full back. The Nigerian had earlier donned the colours of another Goan giant, Salgaocar FC in the 2013-14 I-league Campaign.
