Dempo SC demolished Sporting Clube de Goa 10-0 in the Goa Football Association (GFA) U-14 League match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Campal on Friday.

Dempo SC could have had a goal in the opening minute of the game, when Delwin Coelho, put Swavel Furtado through, but the young winger misjudged the bounce and the chance went abegging.

Ashish Kumar, was the next one to have his go to find the early goal but his effort from the left flank breezed past the second post.

Topan Mirz finally started the goal scoring in the 3rd minute of the game before adding a second moments later, his goals a reflection of the amount of time the Dempo mid fielders were finding themselves with.

The eagles were up by 5 goals in a matter of minutes, Reniel Dmello, Swavel Furtado and Dalwin Coelho all getting their names on the score sheet in the first 30 minutes of play.

Keeper Mohammad Hussan was cutting a lonely figure in between the posts of the Dempo goal, with the ball hardly ever crossing into the Eagles half. He was called to action in the 28th minute however, making an easy save from a Sporting cross.

In between the 43rd and 45th minute of the game, Topan Mirz, slotted two more goals to see his team take a comfortable seven goal cushion into the break.

In the second half, the boys continued from where they had left with substitute Shavir Mohammed scoring with his first touch after coming on for Topan Mirz. He doubled his tally soon after with Dempo SC breaking on the counter after sustaining some pressure from Sporting Clube de Goa.

Ashish scored the last goal for the winners.
